Axiell invites customers to contribute ideas for new features or functions in Quria. While we can't develop every suggestion, your input helps shape Quria’s roadmap. You are welcome to add ideas, vote on others’ suggestions, and discuss them.
Please read the Idea Guidelines & Review Process before submitting your suggestion.
In the Roadmap tab, you can see what we’re planning to develop in the near future.
Please note that changes of scope for a release can occur during the milestone due to various reasons. This means that some functionality is moved to next (or a later) milestone and affects the scope of that.
Thank you!
It would be helpful, also as long as ser: is not possible in the item search, that the series title is included as a field in the csv export of the items. For inventory maintenance / zero lists, it is important to know whether a copy/title is part of a series.
Thank you very much Magdalena.
That helps a lot.
Best regards
Hi,
Ok, I see. Sorry, but we can't make series searchable in Items right now. I think I changed the status by accident, I will change it back to Future consideration.
There are three permissions for W/E/M so you can safely open it up for search to all collegaues and give only the permission to change and delete to some of them. When we developed this feature we knew that it would be useful for all staff so we created these three levels.
Best regards
Magdalena
Hello,
W/E/M does not show me any loan figures. And it's nice that you can see the series with the respective numbers, but with this tab you can evaluate a lot, but also delete a lot, so we have not activated it for all responsible editors of the library. I think something needs to be improved here.
You said it's similar with another idea. Which one is that?
Best regards
Kathleen Paetznick
After implementing the search in manifestations/expressions/works separately in the tab W/E/M I believe that we have a good enough solutions for the series.
Best regards
Magdalena
Hi,
you are right, series information is not searchable in the "medien" search and that is a decision that we have taken due to the datamodel and technical structure of Quria.
In the regular collection search "everything" is an can be indexed. In all other places where bibliographic information occurs we we need to limit what kind of bibliographic data that is indexed. I see that this is not so well described in the Help, which we should improve. In the Was ist neu in Quria- section there is a release note from April 2022 that describes it a bit.
All searches around Quria that involve collection metadata have been tightened up so it will be more obvious what is possible to search on, for example regarding collection items, reservations and subscriptions. In each refined search area, there is also a common Title information section with the same content.
Note: For Collection search and Titles in demand there are more search options, and this is not affected by these changes.
The following data is searchable in all title related searches:
Title
Creator name
Publication year
Shelf mark
Language
International standard numbers
Manifestation type
Target audience
Literary form
Classifications
Subjects
It is possible to add series here in theory, but right now we need to keep it as it is for performance reasons.
But understand that it would be nice to have and I will keep it for the future.
I wish you a nice weeked!
Regards
Magdalena
