Axiell wants to get our customers to be involved in the roadmaps suggesting ideas for features or functions. Unfortunately we cannot develope each and every function suggested but we want to make sure that you have your say. Add your ideas, and opinions to Axiell's roadmap for Quria, creating new features that yours and other libraries would benefit from. You can also vote for other peoples suggestions as well.
In order to make this portal more useful for all the contributors and for us that work with your ideas, we kindly ask you to write in English.
Please note: If you have an error or a misbehaving function, please contact your local Support for the best possible service. If you are not sure what forum that is the most appropriate for your issue, please choose local support as a first step.
How it works:
The ideas are read and reviewed on a regular basis, by product manager and/or local representative. Your ideas will then be available for others to see, vote on and discuss. We encourage discussions between the idea contributors.
Successful ideas will the be prioritzed within our backlog.
What does the status mean?
Under investigation - often there needs to be a discussion between developers and system specialists before we can say if something can be developed, how and when.
Planned - this suggestion or need will be fufilled in some way in a forseable future.
Future consideration - this status means that we think that it's good idea with no technical obstacles but it's not decided if it can be prioritized and put on the roadmap.
No action - in some cases it is impossible to meet some requirements for technical or other reasons, and sometimes there is another alternative way to solve the need.
Right to reject and close
We reserve the right to reject ideas, and also close issues after 3 months if we don't receive an answer to our follow up questions.
Hello,
there is no special field for the inventory number for our items. This number isn't the same as the "item number". We write this number in the field "internal note" in the item details. But there we have the problem, that we can't search for it. The inventory number contains of the year of the item and a following number in our library. For example: "24:124" (this means that is the 124th item of the year 2024). We need it to register all our items. Is there the possibility for search for internal note OR create a new field?
Hallo,
Hi
Thank you a lot for this information, it helps a lot!
Unfortunately I still have some questions :)
But first:
We have created the so called "Item receipt types" for this purpose so you can tag every item with the funders name. You can set up as many "item receipt types" as you need and every subsidy/funder can be set up a a "item receipt type" The good thing with them is that they are searchable in Collection/Items and also used in Analytics so you can evaluate how they are used.
But this does not solve the searchability for the inventory number. What does the inventory number comes from, I mean who decides what number a book gets and how is it constructed? I still don't understand the usecase: And sometimes we need to search for the number, because we need to know, if the media is already in our librarysystem for example. Can you describe it a little more?
Best regards and I wish you a nice weekend
Magdalena
Hi,
we have found a field yet, where we can place and search our inventory number. We are using now the "About the work / Other information / Medium of performance"
Additional to the money from the library holder (town or country or private) in Germany the libraries are getting money from the country by subsidies. To make a proof for this money, we are committed to make a list with all the medias we have bought. And every media has to get an inventory number.
And sometimes we need to search for the number, because we need to know, if the media is already in our librarysystem for example.
We are using the number for all items.
I think other German libraries are using also inventory numbers. Perhaps not like us but in an other form.
Hallo,
Hi,
To be able to make the best decision for how we should solve this issue I would like to know more about how the inventory number is used. Why is it added to the items? In what situations do you search for it? Is it common in German libraries? Is it used on all items or for specific collections? Please give me as much information as possible.
Regards
Magdalena
